Who is Included

We are inviting leading US universities with academic medical centers and US schools of pharmacy to join this study as academic study partners. We are seeking to have at least 1 university and 1 school of pharmacy from each of the 50 states.

There are opportunities for administrators, researchers and students from the following disciplines

  • University-Wide Research Leadership

  • Academic Medical Center Research Leadership

  • Pharmacy

  • Nursing and Other Allied Health Professions

University research and innovation offices are encouraged to join in an "umbrella" role, to help support development of larger-scale research, service and innovation opportunities that are identified in this and other studies.

Administrators, Researchers, Staff and Students with Relevant Expertise and Experience

We have opportunities for administrators, researchers and graduate students with relevant interest and expertise to participate in the following roles:

Roles for Administrators (Vice Presidents of Research, Deans, Chairs)

  • Opportunities to participate in multi-university collaborative research grants through National Science Foundation and other mechanisms

  • Identification/development of new grant/funding opportunities

  • New learning and practicum opportunities for students

  • New service opportunities for faculty and staff

Roles for Researchers and Students

  • Co-Investigator opportunities

  • Research facilitation opportunities (stipends may be available)

  • Learning Center Curators

  • Innovation Center Curators

  • GRAs / Study Coordinators

  • Observers (to learn, identify future opportunities)

  • Other Roles (TBD)

Time Commitments

Observers can participate with no time commitments. Voting participants will involve about 2 hours per month, virtually, on flexible schedules. Facilitator roles are estimated to take 2-4 hours per month, virtually, on flexible schedules.
